Base pay range

Marks Sattin are delighted to be partnering with a Private Equity backed, business to help appoint a Chief Financial Officer. They are currently at £40million revenue and looking to scale the business over the next 3-5 years.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organisation's overall strategic objectives
• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulatory requirements, and preparation for external audits
• Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize capital structure to meet operational needs efficiently
• Review and enhance financial controls and processes to mitigate risk and safeguard company assets
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Provide financial analysis and guidance to support business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate potential investments, partnerships, and M&A opportunities
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and strategic financial management
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial institutions

Qualifications:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
• Proven track record of success in a CFO, FD, or similar executive financial leadership role
• Deep understanding of financial and accounting principles, procedures, and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
