Chief Executive — North West England — Competitive Salary

We are seeking a visionary Chief Executive to lead Onward into its next chapter.

Do you have the exceptional leadership skills required to lead one of the largest registered providers of social housing based solely in the North West of England? If so, you’ll be joining an organisation which is united by its vision to make The Onward Difference: enabling people to be their best, in homes they love, and places they are proud of.

With around 35,000 homes across Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside and Lancashire, we believe that everyone deserves a place to call their own, which is why we’re committed to building 500 new homes each year. We do more than just provide a roof over our customers’ heads – we are here to make a real difference.

As either an established or aspiring Chief Executive, you’ll bring to Onward significant strategic leadership experience from the social housing sector. With a forward-looking, collaborative and visible leadership style, you’ll bring expertise in stakeholder management and partnership working, along with the skills required to navigate complexity and lead transformation in an organisation of Onward’s scale. We are a fast-moving business currently experiencing significant positive change, which includes in-sourcing our repairs and maintenance services, investing in future-proofing our existing homes, and continuing our digital transformation at pace.
