Job Description
- Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with the organisation's goals and mission.
- Oversee accounting and finance operations to ensure financial sustainability and compliance.
- Provide expert advice to the senior leadership team on financial planning and risk management, commercial trends, and opportunities.
- Ensure procurement is seen as a value add function
- Identify opportunities for revenue generation and cost optimisation within the not-for-profit framework.
- Lead negotiations with external stakeholders to secure funding and partnerships.
- Monitor financial performance and present actionable insights to the board.
- Build partnerships with suppliers to deliver joint value programmes
The Successful Applicant
A successful Chief Commercial Officer should have:
- A strong background leadership and influencing at board level
- Proven experience in developing and executing long term strategies
- Proven experience leading procurement at above £200million spend
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with stakeholders effectively.
- A track record of delivering measurable results in a strategic leadership capacity.
