Chemotherapy Nurse

Salary: £40,500 - £45,500 + company car or car allowance

Hours: Full-time

Location: North Yorkshire and surrounding region

About the role

As a Chemotherapy Nurse, you'll play a vital role in transforming cancer care by delivering specialist treatment in the comfort of patients' homes. This is more than a nursing role‑it's a chance to provide one‑to‑one, holistic care that empowers patients and enhances their quality of life.

Working across North Yorkshire and the surrounding area, you'll administer a range of haematological and solid tumour chemotherapy treatments, build meaningful relationships with patients and carers, and be a trusted clinical partner in their recovery journey. You'll be part of a forward‑thinking team that values compassion, autonomy, and clinical excellence‑making a real difference every day while growing your own skills and confidence.

About you

You're a dedicated and compassionate nurse with a passion for delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care. You'll be:

  • Administering chemotherapy treatments safely and effectively in patients' homes.
  • Experience in administrating Chemotherapy/Cytotoxic drugs.
  • Hold a SACT or similar qualification
  • Building strong, supportive relationships with patients, carers, and stakeholders.
  • Documenting clinical data accurately and reporting adverse drug events appropriately.
  • Maintaining up‑to‑date clinical knowledge and addressing any competency gaps.
  • Travelling across the region with a full UK driving licence.
  • Collaborating with a wider clinical team to ensure continuity of care.
