A leading waste management company is seeking a Site Chemist in Greater Manchester. The successful candidate will analyze, check, and test incoming loads while ensuring proper storage, segregation, and documentation of hazardous waste. A minimum HNC in Chemistry and a hands-on approach are required. The role offers a salary of £30,000-£35,000, annual bonuses, and benefits including pension and training. SRG are working with a leading privately owned large waste management company who are now looking for 2 Site Chemists to join the team. This is a hands‑on role within the waste industry, you will be analysing, checking and testing incoming loads, processing hazardous and non‑hazardous waste, insuring segregation and storage of hazardous waste meets requirements, labelling waste and completing documents on all incoming and outgoing chemical materials. This role would suit experienced waste chemists with 2+ years of experience.
Working Hours: 40 hour week – Monday to Friday, flexible start and finish times, 25 days holiday + bank holidays
