Job Description

About the Role: We are seeking multiple dedicated and safety-conscious Chemical Site Decommissioning Operatives to support the safe and efficient decommissioning of chemical processing facilities. This role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to clean, and prepare chemical plant infrastructure for closure or repurposing, in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Traffic Warden/management
• Hole watching/standby duties
• Industrial cleaning
• General housekeeping
• Follow strict health and safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.

Duration: Temporary for a period of 6 to 8 weeks from 22/09/25

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate:

• Monday to Friday: £12.40 per hour
• After 8 hours: £18.60 per hour
• Saturday: £18.60 per hour
• Sunday: £24.80 per hour

Working Hours: The decommissioning will run on a 7 day operation. Monday to Sunday, 07:30 – 17:30. 9.5 hours paid per shift. You will be working within the Working Time Regulations, with overtime available for those who opt out of the 48-hour week rule.
