Overview

Chef Manager (COP00VI) – Copper Beech Care Home, Eastbourne Road, Ridgewood, Uckfield, TN22 5ST, East Sussex. Salary: £14.59 - £18.03 per hour dependent on experience + £2000 annual bonus. Hours: 40 per week to include alternate weekends.

What you’ll do
  • Use your passion for cooking and experience in a fresh food kitchen to create a varied and nutritional menu in line with the dietary needs and preferences of residents
  • Lead, train and mentor the kitchen team to deliver an excellent dining experience
  • Be innovative in your approach to cooking and maintain high standards
  • Manage all mandatory paperwork including adhering to COSHH and HACCP guidelines, company policies and procedures, budgets, and orders and deliveries
  • Cater for special events or seasonal activities (e.g., summer fetes, Christmas parties, birthdays) as required

* Your welcome bonus will be paid in the next available pay run after four weeks’ service and will be subject to tax and NI deductions.

** You’ll also be eligible for a quarterly bonus based on performance. Chef Managers who achieve 6 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will receive a quarterly incentive of £500 (subject to usual tax and NI deductions).
