Chef de Cuisine

We’re looking for a Chef de Cuisine to join our MOLON Kitchen team at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the smooth running of MOLON Kitchen, including Breakfast, The Rosebery, In Room Dining, Mandarin Bar, as well as Banqueting and Events in the absence of the Banqueting Head Chef.
  • Coordinate and guide all team members, ensuring they perform cohesively and consistently meet our operational standards.
  • Supervise all aspects of kitchen operations, including safety, hygiene, food presentation, uniforms and overall compliance.

As a Chef de Cuisine you will be working on 5 shifts per week. Shift patterns will include weekends and bank holidays, so flexibility is required where applicable.

Qualifications
  • Proven previous experience in a 5* Hotel.
  • Excellent manners and communication skills; demonstrate strong computer literacy and etiquette (emails, Excel, Word, etc., as well as purchasing systems and HR management software) for daily administrative and operational tasks.
  • Efficient in multi‑tasking in high pressur​e environments.
  • Flexible availability.
