Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve wholesome, homemade meals that meet nutritional needs and bring comfort to Residents.
  • Contribute to menu planning with creativity and care to present nutritious and appetising dishes.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen practice, with a sound understanding of HACCP.
  • Work as part of a team with a positive attitude and caring approach reflecting HC-One values.
  • Safeguarding: recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect, know what to do if concerns arise, attend safeguarding training, and seek appropriate advice and escalate when action is not taken.
Qualifications
  • Experienced cook with a recognised qualification, holding an S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery.
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).

Salary and Location

£13.25 to £13.60 per hour. Eastleigh, Chandlers Ford (All Locations and Home/Department fields indicate general service).
