A UK recruitment agency is seeking a Chef Assessor / Trainer who will train and assess Chef Apprenticeships levels 2 to 4. This role involves both online and face-to-face delivery in workshops, supporting learners to achieve Functional Skills. The ideal candidate should hold a recognised Assessor qualification and have extensive experience as an Executive or Head Chef. Candidates must be flexible with travel across London, Kent, and the South West, possess a clean driving licence, and have a vehicle available.

Duties include :
Train, assess and deliver Chef Apprenticeships (Level 2 - 4).
Deliver to cohorts of learners online and face to face in a workshop / kitchen-based setting.
Support learners to achieve Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs. Essential Criteria :
Must hold a recognised Assessor award: D32 / 33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
Have experience of delivering Chef Apprenticeships (online and face to face - and ideally workshop / group based delivery)
Confident to deliver training to groups of learners online and in person within a workshop setting.
Must have experience of working hands on as an Executive / Head Chef or similar within a high-end restaurant setting
Happy and confident to support learners with Functional Skills.
Must be an excellent communicator who is learner and quality focussed.
Must hold full, clean driving licence and have use of a vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.
