Job summary

A charity focused on domestic abuse support in Lowestoft is seeking a leader to manage their services and staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting service delivery, networking to raise awareness, and managing finances and grant applications. This role requires experience in customer service and managing teams. The charity is dedicated to a trauma-informed approach and providing comprehensive support services.

Qualifications

  • Experience in training, care, or employment advice/support is required.
  • Knowledge of digital technology for client data management.
  • Experience managing programmes and personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Support and deliver the Service.
  • Network to raise awareness of Domestic Abuse and promote the service.
  • Manage finance and grant applications.
  • Oversee staff and service standards.
  • Implement strategies for new projects.

Essential Person Requirements

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage our Domestic Abuse Charity in Lowestoft. We believe in a person-centred, trauma-informed approach and the involvement of individuals in all aspects of their support. This includes providing Advice and guidance, education programmes, and Trauma Therapy which is delivered by qualified therapists.

Established more than 40 years ago for the relief of emotional distress and suffering and the preservation and protection of the mental and physical health of those who are, or who have been exposed to domestic violence and abuse.

We aim to advance the education of the public, organisations and agencies in all aspects of domestic abuse and its impact on individuals and wider society.
