Job summary

A regional charity based in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a Finance Officer to oversee the finance function. The successful candidate will manage financial controls, assist in reporting, and maintain accurate accounting records. Qualifications

  • You will be a qualified accounting technician or qualified by experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in financial management within the charity sector.
  • Understanding of charity finance regulations is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with periodic reporting including overview of financial position.
  • Conduct regular reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts.
  • Process supplier invoices on a bi-monthly basis.
