About Our Client

The client is a well known specialist regional legal firm with offices across the North of England. They have a dedicated Charities team who work with a range of charities and social enterprises across the UK and they are now looking to recruit a Commercial lawyer to join their specialist team.

Job Description

The Charities Solicitor will get involved in a range of work including:

  • Advising charities and social business and enterprises on commercial contracts
  • Drafting a range of contracts including sales and purchase, supply contracts, terms and conditions and partnership agreements
  • Advising on grants and donations
  • Being the key contact for large charities
  • Supervising junior team members
  • Working closely the partners in the firm / team
The Successful Applicant

The successful Charities Solicitor will have / be:

  • A Solicitor with a background in charities or commercial
  • An interest to work in the charities sector
  • Likely to come from a law firm background or public sector background
  • Likely to have around 5 years plus PQE
  • Ties to Leeds
