A leading technology firm in Birmingham is seeking a Sales Enablement & Training Lead to elevate channel sales performance. This role focuses on designing and delivering training strategies that support sales teams and enhance merchant interactions. Candidates should have at least five years of experience in a sales-related field, strong instructional design skills, and the ability to simplify complex concepts. Since we opened our doors in 2009 the world of commerce has evolved immensely and so has Square. After enabling anyone to take payments and never miss a sale we saw sellers stymied by disparate outmoded products and tools that wouldnt work together.
So we expanded into software and started building integrated omnichannel solutions to help sellers sell online manage inventory offer buy now pay later functionality book appointments engage loyal buyers and hire and pay staff. Across it all weve embedded financial services tools at the point of sale so merchants can access a business loan and manage their cash flow in one place. Squares mission is to power all the ways small businesses do businesshelping UK merchants operate more efficiently sell confidently and unlock new opportunities. As our UK sales organisation continues to scale we are looking for a Sales Enablement & Training Lead to elevate the performance capability and confidence of our channel sales this role you will design and deliver a modern enablement strategy that helps our Independent Contractors move faster sell smarter and feel supported at every step of the customer journey. Youll combine hands‑on training delivery with strategic programme design ensuring our teams have the tools clarity and coaching they need to consistently meet the needs of UK merchants. This is a highly collaborative field‑connected role that requires strong facilitation skills a structured approach to process and the ability to translate complex information into simple actionable guidance for sellers and their leaders. Reporting into the Channel Sales Lead this role offers remote work within the UK.
