A retirement community is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their Health Center team on a full-time basis. The role involves providing essential nursing care to residents, assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring high hygiene standards. Candidates must be CPR certified and hold a valid CNA license. Located in the heart of World Golf Village, Westminster St. Augustine, a Life Care Retirement Community, is currently accepting applications for the position of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work in our Health Center on a full-time basis for the 3-11pm shift. As a part of the Nursing Team, this individual will provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with nursing care procedures and as directed by their supervisor in a manner that preserves residents’ dignity, honors their rights, provides good customer service, communicates appropriately and adheres to federal and state compliance regulations. As part of the Westminster Family, this position is a vital part of our Nursing Team.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience: Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of Florida and must be CPR Certified. Med Tech Certification preferred. ALL APPLICANT'S PLEASE UPLOAD YOUR CURRENT PROFESSIONAL FL CNA LICENSE, CPR CERTIFICATION (American Heart Association or American Red Cross only) WITHIN YOUR APPLICATION TO EXPEDITE THE PROCESS. One year of long term care experience or working with handicapped or developmentally disabled adults.
Physical and Environmental Requirements. The physical activities of this position involve:Balancing, Grasping, Pushing, Climbing, Kneeling, Reclining, Crouching, Lifting up to 40 lbs., Standing, Fingering, Stooping
Sensory and communicative activities with or without prosthetics of this position are:Feeling, Seeing, Smelling, Hearing, Speaking
An individual in this position will be exposed to:Inside/outside environmental conditions, Bloodborne pathogens, Respiratory pathogens, Physical equipment hazards
Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of this position.
