The role involves preparing accurate estimates, reviewing drawings, and supporting tender submissions for projects valued between £50k and £500k. Ideal candidates should have experience in the relevant sector, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in estimating software. The position offers a competitive salary range from £45k to £50k.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates for ceilings, partitioning and office fit out works.
• Review drawings, specifications and client requirements to produce clear cost breakdowns.
• Support tender submissions for projects between £50k and £500k.
• Identify risks, value engineering opportunities and buildability considerations.
• Collaborate with the project and commercial teams to ensure alignment on scope and pricing.
• Maintain well organised records of tender documentation.
• Support ongoing client relationships through clear communication and professionalism.

Skills

Experience as an Estimator within ceilings, partitions, drylining or office fit out

Strong understanding of materials, systems and installation methods

Ability to produce accurate estimates for small to mid-sized commercial projects

Confident in reading drawings and specifications

Excellent numerical, analytical and communication skills

Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Office
