A local government organization is seeking a Casual CCTV Operator in Stratford-upon-Avon. The successful candidate will assist in monitoring CCTV to enhance community safety. Responsibilities include CCTV monitoring, evidence preparation, and partner communication. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, strong IT proficiency, and the ability to handle sensitive information. This role includes both day and night shifts and requires successful completion of vetting processes.

We are currently recruiting for a Casual CCTV Operator to assist our full-time team in keeping the district safe. You will be offered a choice of working day and night shifts to help combat crime and disorder and promote community safety.
Our CCTV Team provide quality public space CCTV surveillance which is accredited to British Standard BS7958 and the Surveillance Camera Commissioner certification.
Our CCTV control room has the latest camera technology and systems, including over 130 public space CCTV cameras located in 8 towns throughout Stratford-on-Avon District.
Working alongside community safety partner organisations, including the police, council, and businesses, you will play a crucial role in the wider Community Safety Partnership arrangements, working to prevent and detect crime and disorder and to maintain public safety and welfare. Your duties will include:
Our CCTV service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. CCTV Operators usually work 12 hours shifts however you might be asked to cover shorter periods for example to cover events or operations. This vacancy will offer shifts during both day and night periods. The role will require some periods of lone working as well as working with other operators and the CCTV Manager. As a part of the role you may be required to attend training courses but this will be with suitable notice.
Successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory criminal record, employment, and credit checks prior to employment starting, as well as being externally vetted by Warwickshire Police to the Non-Police Personnel Vetting Standard (NPPV Level 2).
