Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the CCTV procedure for the Company is adhered to at all times.
  • Assist in the implementation of the CCTV systems across operations.
  • Ensure all CCTV equipment is fully maintained and in good working order.
  • Document and log each bus registration, fleet number, and serial numbers of all CCTV equipment.
  • Investigate CCTV evidence and assist the Police and Traffic Officers in investigations.
  • Complete all paperwork on a daily basis relating to CCTV.
Job description

National Express are looking to recruit an experience CCTV Operative to join the team, based at our Acocks Green garage. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the garage in the management and implementation of CCTV systems. What you'll do:

  • Ensure that the CCTV procedure for the Company is adhered to at all times
  • Assist in the implementation of the CCTV systems across operations, ensuring that the procedure meets the legal requirements of the Data Protection Act and the CCTV code of practice, whilst maintaining the strict confidentiality of the images
  • Ensure that all CCTV equipment is fully maintained and in good working order, initiating checks of the systems on the vehicles on a daily basis
  • Responsible for ensuring that the contractors are in place to ensure swift response to undertake repairs to equipment working towards a target of 100% operating effectiveness of the equipment
  • Document and log each bus registration, fleet number and serial numbers of all CCTV equipment, ensuring the movement of equipment between vehicles is logged
  • Investigate CCTV evidence and assist the Police and the Traffic Officers in any investigations they may be undertaking and to attend court on behalf of the company
  • Complete all paper work on a daily basis relating to CCTV, the hard drive log, the statistical information log, the incident log and case collection log, the request forms and feedback forms
  • Have a duty of care for the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues at all times, including a duty to report unsafe acts or omissions to safety. You should always follow all safety instructions in respect of how you undertake your role within the Business
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as required which are reasonably comparable in accordance with the conditions appertaining to the post and to meet operational requirements, Free Bus & Coach travel for yourself on the National Express network
