Cardiac Radiographer - Cath Lab | £38.5k - £46.5k | South West

Castlefield Healthcare is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Radiographer to join a specialist team in a purpose‑built cardiac facility delivering high‑quality care to patients in the South West. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dedicated, highly skilled multidisciplinary team in a supportive and innovative working environment.

You will be working in a modern setting equipped with state‑of‑the‑art technology, including a fully digital cardiac catheter lab, recovery beds, a radial lounge, private ensuite rooms, and comprehensive outpatient facilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work as a key member of a multidisciplinary team, supporting procedures including PCI, angiograms, device implants, and electrophysiology / ablation
  • Provide high‑quality radiographic imaging during interventional cardiac procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) to ensure full compliance with radiation safety standards
  • Assist with the management of clinical workflows, equipment maintenance, and adherence to quality assurance protocols
  • Participate in the clinical training and induction of staff, ensuring professional development and safety compliance
Essential
  • HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer
  • Proven experience working in a cardiac catheter lab environment
  • Excellent technical knowledge and ability to work autonomously in a clinical setting
  • Strong understanding of radiation protection principles
  • Cath‑Lab: 2 years (required)
Desirable
  • Experience in quality assurance processes and audit participation
  • Involvement in educational or training activities for junior staff
