A leading academic institution in Edinburgh seeks a Catering and Events Driver to support the operational service for a wide range of conferences and events. This role offers development opportunities and requires strong communication and exceptional customer service skills. Candidates must hold a Full Driving Licence. The position offers a competitive salary within a vibrant community.
Grade UE02: £22,995 to £23,350 per annum plus 15% Premium Band
Corporate Services Group / Accommodation, Catering and Events
Full-time: 35 hours per week, 5 over 7 days including weekends

The Opportunity:
The University of Edinburgh Hospitality and Events Collection is the commercial arm of the world-leading University of Edinburgh, which includes the conference and events team. We provide a professional operation across a broad portfolio of conferences, meetings and events, from major international conferences to day meetings and prestigious dining events (circa 2,000 events annually), held at venues across the University’s portfolio. Additionally, the team operates a large Outside Catering and Delivered Hospitality service to University buildings and to private and corporate locations across the city.
We are looking for professional individuals to join and strengthen our diverse team. As a Catering and Events Driver, you will support the operational service delivery, which includes setting up, service, clearing and many other activities for a wide range of conferences and events. You will learn a wide range of skills as well as gain numerous of development opportunities.
