What You'll Do:
  • Assist in preparing and delivering safe, hygienic food services for patients and visitors, including assembling and transporting meal trays.
  • Accurately take and record refreshment orders, ensuring all allergies and dietary needs are clearly communicated and followed.
  • Provide a courteous, high‑quality service on the ward, supporting patients with meals and ensuring timely delivery of all refreshments.
  • Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness and infection‑control standards, including washing equipment, managing stock, monitoring wastage and completing required documentation.
  • Communicate professionally and calmly, follow all policies and safety procedures, report issues promptly, and support the wider catering team as needed.
