Job description

£38.7k per annum

From 4 April 2024, overseas workers requiring a general Skilled Worker Visa (such as data analysts, IT and finance professionals, etc.) sponsored by an NHS organisation will need to meet the new salary threshold of £38,700. Additionally, applications to the Health and Care Visa route for occupations paid by NHS bands on the immigration salary will need to meet the national pay scale or the new minimum salary threshold of £23,200, whichever is higher. We are recruiting a Catering Assistant to work in our Catering Department at Ludlow Community Hospital. We seek a reliable, motivated, and flexible individual with good communication and interpersonal skills, suited to the hospital environment, committed to providing high-quality catering services, and able to work as part of a team.

  • Wash-up duties, including using the dishwasher.
  • Preparation of tea/coffee trolleys for meetings.
  • Preparation of sandwiches, vegetables, etc.
  • Assisting with deliveries and storing items.
  • Maintaining high standards of PPE, COSHH, SCHT guidelines, etc.
  • Ensuring cleanliness of staff dining areas.
