Overview

We are looking for an experienced Catering & Nutritional Team Leader to manage our catering teams across multiple sites. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, and deliver a high-quality catering service.


Responsibilities


  • Manage, supervise, and organise cooks and kitchen assistants.

  • Ensure adequate staffing and deployment of catering staff.

  • Implement recruitment, induction, training, and performance management processes.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, environmental health, and health and safety standards.

  • Deliver nutritious meals that meet individual dietary and cultural requirements.

  • Maintain clean and safe catering and dining environments.

  • Respond to feedback from citizens and families regarding food and dining experiences.

  • Support food-related social and leisure activities.

  • Monitor budgets, manage stock, and procure quality food cost-effectively.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and nutrition standards.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and collaborative approach.
