Qualifications

• Category C Licence is required.
• Valid CPC needed for the role.
• Experience in waste operations or specialist vehicle handling is preferred.
• Physically fit for manual work in all weather.
• Ability to supervise and support a small crew.

Responsibilities

• Operate a waste collection vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Lead, supervise and allocate duties to waste collection crew members.
• Carry out daily vehicle walk-around checks and complete defect reports.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
• Record accidents / near misses and conduct dynamic risk assessments.
