CAT C Driver - Crawley | Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain

Location: Crawley

Pay: £16.00 PAYE £18.00 Umbrella.

The Best Connection Employment Group are currently recruiting for a CAT C Driver for ongoing multi-drop work, working within the Logistics, Distribution and Supply Chain industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional CAT C Driver seeking consistent work with a reputable company operating in Logistics, Distribution and Supply Chain sector.

You’ll be responsible for delivering palletised loads using an electric pump truck, servicing both commercial and residential customers.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday: 08:30 start
• Rate of Pay: £16.00 per hour
• £18.00 per hour Umbrella.

Responsibilities of the Driver

• Operate a CAT C vehicle to various UK destinations, delivering palletised loads with an electric pump truck.
• Complete a mix of commercial and residential deliveries in line with Logistics, Distribution and Supply Chain operational standards.
• Handball smaller items off the vehicle where required - some heavy lifting involved.
• Conduct full pre- and post-trip vehicle checks, including tyres, fluids, and safety equipment.
• Communicate with the transport manager daily to ensure timely and professional delivery schedules are met.
• Adhere strictly to road safety and company delivery policies.

Requirements of the CAT C Driver

• Valid Category C Licence
• CPC & Digi Tacho Card
• Previous multi-drop experience essential
• Knowledge or experience in Logistics, Distribution and Supply Chain preferred
