Overview

Casual Front of House/ Host at Gulf Air Falcon Gold Lounge Heathrow Airport T4

Responsibilities

• Set the lounge furniture, cushions, coffee tables etc; ensure condiments, glasses, cups etc are neatly arranged.
• Ensure all food and beverages are displayed according to specification and replenished as necessary.
• Ensure the coffee machine is ready to use.
• Water the plants.
• Load service counters as directed and ensure sufficient supplies throughout the service period.
• Ensure lounge seating area is clean, with sofas and tables arranged as per the lounge plan.
• Assist the chef with some food preparations such as fruit plates and cheese boards.
• Carry out other reasonable tasks as requested (e.g., stock rearrangement and deliveries for front of house).
• Buffet area deep cleaning on days when Kuwait staffing is unavailable in the morning.
• Clear tables and ensure used crockery, cutlery and glasses are brought to the dishwashing area.
• Maintain presentation and cleanliness of dining, bar and buffet areas during and after lounge hours.
• Ensure dining areas are adequately stocked during service times.
• Provide an efficient and friendly service to lounge customers and build rapport with guests.
• Report customer feedback (complaints and compliments) and take remedial action if possible.
• Liaise with and assist the chef on duty and Gulf lounge team as required.
• Maintain lounge cleanliness during operating hours; handle coffee machine cleaning after the lounge closes.
• Wipe all tables, cupboards, desks and other furniture to remove finger/food/beverage stains.
• Vacuum the buffet area to remove dirt and crumbs; sweep and mop the buffet tiled area.
• Report incidents of accidents, fire, theft, loss, damage, or other irregularities to the Line Supervisor or Manager.
• Other reasonable tasks may be requested from time to time.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Dress according to standards and guidelines; wear the supplied uniform on duty.
• Use only products and equipment supplied for the job.
• Complete and sign off H&S documentation (e.g., cleaning schedules) daily after tasks are finished.
• Comply with legal and company procedures relating to food safety, health and personal hygiene.
• Be proactive in completing online trainings to stay compliant.
• Sign in and out on shift; follow the shift rota to ensure hours worked are paid correctly.
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings as requested.
