The Role

We are looking for a Front of House Assistant on a casual basis, to join our Catering team at our Sobha Realty Training Centre. We are looking for someone with a passion for food, who has a positive attitude and thrives in a team environment.


Note: this role will involve working flexible hours, including weekday evenings and weekends.

Your day-to-day


  • Deliver excellent customer service – you will serve food and drink while providing excellent customer service to staff, players and visitors

  • Lead by example – you will communicate clearly and professionally with all customers, upholding club policies at all times, especially health and safety, food hygiene and safety procedures and safeguarding

  • Support on stock management – you'll support the team in restocking front-of-house areas and ensure cleanliness throughout service

  • Maintain safety and compliance – you will ensure the safety of others is considered and confidentiality is maintained at all times when work is being undertaken, ensuring the compliance of nutrition and sanitation regulations and all industry hygiene and safety standards

  • Support the Front‑of‑House and catering team – you'll show flexibility and a positive, can‑do attitude throughout to help out in other areas where required

  • Proven experience in a similar catering environment – you have experience in a customer‑facing or food service role

  • Communication skills – you are a confident, clear communicator with a positive team‑player attitude

  • Adaptable and organised mindset – you thrive under pressure and you’re able to effectively adapt to change and prioritise workloads accordingly

  • Flexibility – you have availability to work weekdays and/or weekends, early mornings and bank holidays

  • Trusted ambassador for our club – you recognise your responsibility as a representative of our club and maintain exceptional standards of professional behaviour towards colleagues, players and the wider public
