Overview

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Carpenter Joiner to join a well-established company!

Job Type: Full-Time, Self-Employed.

Salary: Competitive Salary of £200 Plus Per Day, Depending on Experience.

Location: Standlake, OX29 – To cover the whole of Oxfordshire.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm.

They are a well-established, family-run business in the property renovation sector, covering the entire Oxfordshire County. They have an enviable reputation for delivering high quality workmanship and are seeking an experienced carpenter/joiner to join their growing team.

The company are looking to fill this position as soon as possible and have work available Immediately.

Responsibilities

• Joinery tasks: creating built-in wardrobes, cupboards, multi-media units.
• First fix carpentry: studwork, bathroom boxings, internal door linings, window boards, windows, exterior doors, staircases.
• Second fix carpentry: low-level bathroom fixings, architraves to door linings, internal hard/soft-wood doors, skirting and mouldings, staircase components.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years' carpentry/joinery experience.
• Strong work ethic with excellent carpentry and joinery skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; willingness to take on additional tasks.
• Good interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues.
• Self-reliance, resourcefulness, trustworthiness and a good sense of humour are desirable.
• Self-employed with own tools; full valid UK driving licence; eligible to work in the UK; Public Liability Insurance; own vehicle (to start with).
