Job Overview

We have a fantastic job opportunity for a Carpenter / Joiner with previous hands‑on experience performing high standard carpentry / joinery, with exceptional attention to detail and ability to read technical drawings.

As a Carpenter / Joiner you will be responsible for installing furniture, fittings, plumbing, and other key components, ensuring every boat is built to the highest standards.

Duties

Your duties and responsibilities as the Carpenter / Joiner will include :

  • Precision Installation : Scribe, trim, and adjust furniture to perfection; fit hardware including port holes, locks, handles, and hatches
  • Plumbing & Fixtures : Install sinks, toilets, holding tanks, and showers with precision
  • Fittings & Customization : Fit canopies, hard tops, and air‑con trunking. Create custom patterns for bespoke units
  • Final Touches : Handle final installations and sign off on boat files for compliance
  • Team Leadership : Mentor and guide less experienced team members
  • Material Management : Safeguard materials and products on‑site
  • Creative Problem Solving : Tackle challenges head‑on, adapting to overcome build obstacles and improve efficiency
