Substantiated experience in a similar role

City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry or equivalent
Good health and safety knowledge
Excellent organizational, time management, and people skills

Job Role: Carpenter Locksmith

Location: HMP Chelmsford - 200 Springfield Rd, CM2 6LQ

Salary: £36,678.26

Contract: Full-time/permanent

We are seeking a dedicated Carpenter inc Locksmith to join our team at HMP Chelmsford, a Category B male prison.

As a Carpenter inc Locksmith, you will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference by providing a secure environment.

We are a Ministry of Justice business providing critical, time-bound services to HMPPS and are looking for a Carpenter inc Locksmith with:

  • Substantiated experience in a similar role
