Salary: £13.85-£14.65 per hour / 32.5 hours per week

The Rambert School is looking for a Caretaker to join their Operations and Development Team. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic problem solver and an excellent communicator. The role involves delivering day-to-day maintenance and security functions across the school’s thriving site.

Key responsibilities of the role include conducting building inspections, gardening and landscaping duties, and performing basic preventative and ad hoc repairs and maintenance tasks as required. The role will also involve locking and securing the building, completing regular patrols to ensure that security is upheld, and acting as an out-of-hours keyholder when required.

In this role, you will be responsible for communicating any maintenance emergencies, monitoring cleaning materials, tools and furniture, and assisting with moving goods and furniture around the building.

The role also involves general housekeeping, assisting with the set-up of meeting rooms, ensuring that the vending machines and water dispensers are operational, and other maintenance and caretaking responsibilities as delegated by the Building Manager.
