A leading housing provider in the UK is looking for a Care & Support Worker to provide personalized support to residents. This full-time position involves delivering care to older adults and individuals with various needs, ensuring their dignity and independence. Applicants should have 5 GCSEs, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours. We are looking for a Care & Support Worker to join us here at Southern Housing on the Isle of Wight.
You will work as part of a team providing personalised care and support to residents and people who use our services in line with established care and support plans. You will work with older people, frail elderly, people with a learning disability and autism, people with mental health issues and people with complex needs.
The Care & Support Worker role provides services in supported housing schemes, extra care schemes and community-based services.
You will need to work flexibly to cover evenings and weekends as required to meet the needs of the service. You must be physically able to undertake moving and handling, have the use of a vehicle with business use insurance and will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check.
Please note, this is a permanent full-time role.
You will work in our Green Meadows scheme, based in Freshwater, Isle of Wight
