A community care provider in Stroud is looking for dedicated Support Workers to provide care and support to residents in various living settings. Ideal candidates should be proactive, friendly, and willing to learn. Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily activities and supporting their independence. Stroud Care Service have happily provided over 25 years to people in need. We believe in fully supporting individuals to maintain their independence in both Residential and Supported Living settings. As a company, our primary focus is on individuals with Mental Health diagnosis and/or Learning Disability, and the associated conditions. We pride ourselves in our positive approach to individual support for each person, ensuring they are always involved in the planning of their daily lives. We want our residents to feel involved in decision making and live meaningful lives with opportunities, experiences, and independence.
The ideal candidate will have prior skills and knowledge of working within a care setting, however this is not completely necessary as full training will be given. We would like applications from those happy to learn, and adapt to meet the needs of our clients.
We are looking for proactive, friendly and dedicated Support Workers to join us in caring for our residents, and someone who will enjoy a job where no 2 days are the same.
We offer good rates of pay, various shift patterns are available. This includes working every other weekend on a rolling 2 weekly shift pattern. This is a full time role at one of our properties located in the Stroud area.
