Job description
Overview

Job Description — Care Services Partner. Provide a single point of contact for care home customers, ensuring excellent customer care while leading the operational running of the care services pharmacy. Work in partnership with local stakeholders to deliver an outstanding level of service to care services users. Onsite role reporting to the store manager.

You will need to have experience with leading and managing a team of dispensers, working alongside care homes and lead managers. Candidates will need to be a fully trained dispenser.

Responsibilities
  • Plan the Care Services workload to ensure the team provides the best service.
  • Work in partnership with a local network of around 40 care homes, store teams and GP surgeries to deliver outstanding care, aiming to retain existing homes and grow new customers.
  • Resolve queries and issues raised by care homes.
  • Support dispensing duties including labelling, priming, preparing MARR sheets, ordering, dispensing, endorsing, checking prescriptions and collecting prescriptions.
  • Work with the Regional Business Manager to be an ambassador for Boots within the local community and assist in signing up new business.
  • Work across all parts of the pharmacy in the store, including the healthcare counter.
What you’ll need to have
  • NVQ2 in Pharmaceutical Science (or equivalent)
  • Experience with problem solving in a healthcare environment with a focus on getting it right for customers.
Desirable
  • NVQ3 in Pharmaceutical Science (or equivalent)
  • A full driving licence as you’ll visit the Care Homes you’re supporting.
