Job description

Express Recruitment are working with a highly reputable organisation who are currently seeking an experienced professional to manage the day-to-day operations and quality of service for a busy Residential Care Home of 44 beds managing a team of 25 staff.

We are seeking an experienced Manager from a Residential care-home background with experience in Dementia care, who can actively contribute to the team, drive standards forward and take responsibility for achieving team targets. Working hours are 8.30 – 5 Monday to Friday and every other weekend with on-call duties.

Responsibilities
  • Resolve any service delivery issues within available resources
  • Improve the performance of front line and operational staff
  • Act as a professional example to the team to ensure high standards
  • Plan service delivery targets for the team and ensure they are regularly met
  • Work with the CQC to adhere to current protocols and guidance
  • Deploy and manage assigned budgets and take corrective action where necessary
Skills & Experience
  • Experience of previous leadership in the residential care setting
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the healthcare sector and NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care
  • Experience working with dementia care
  • Detailed understanding of commissioning new policies
  • Able to effectively lead and motivate a team successfully
