Job summary

A prominent recruitment agency in Sheffield seeks two experienced Chefs to provide high-quality meals for a care home. The role involves preparing nutritious dishes for residents, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring strict adherence to food hygiene standards. Ideal candidates will have previous culinary experience, strong organisational skills, and a caring attitude. Working hours are from 7:30 to 15:00 on a rota basis. Pay is approximately £13.50 to £14.50 per hour based on experience. This position may lead to a permanent contract depending on DBS results.

Qualifications

• Experience in care home or catering environment is preferred.
• Must be willing to undergo a DBS check.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious and high-quality meals for approximately 50 residents.
• Ensure all dishes are presented and served on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen.
• Oversee stock control and manage kitchen assistants.

Skills
