Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Band 6 Social Worker to join our team in Salford, Lancashire. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing essential social work services to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others while advancing your career in the field of mental health. This a full time role starting immediately for an ongoing period of 11 months.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration (e.g., HCPC).
  • Previous experience working in a mental health setting, preferably within the NHS or a similar healthcare environment.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing person‑centered care and promoting service users’ independence and wellbeing.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to mental health and social care.
