Overview

Join Cera as a Care Assistant in Clacton and surrounding areas. You'll be supporting our mission to transform social care and help more people live longer, healthier, and happier lives in their own homes. In this role, you'll support individuals who have recently left hospital following surgery or illness and need extra help while they recover. This vital service enables people to leave hospital sooner and helps reduce pressure on the NHS.

You'll be travelling across the region - including Clacton, Tendering, Harwich, Manningtree, Frinton, Walton-on-the-Naze, and nearby areas - to provide post-hospital care to those recovering from illness or injury.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (continence support, washing, dressing).
• Manage medication, prepare meals, and assist with domestic tasks as needed.
• Offer companionship and reassurance to people in recovery.
• Support individuals who have recently left hospital to aid their recovery at home.
