Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care and contribute fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents, including assisting with personal hygiene while maintaining dignity and independence.
• Recognise and understand clinical risk areas in residents (e.g., weight loss, pressure areas, falls risk, signs of infection) and escalate identified risks promptly.
• Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
• Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.

• Shift Details: 18.45 to 07.15 AM

About the role

Your focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

• Demonstrate effective communication, initiative, and respect toward residents and colleagues.
• Be an efficient worker able to carry out reasonable instructions and adapt to a range of responsibilities at short notice.
• Experience is not required as Avery provides a thorough induction and training programme.

Requirements
