Overview of the Job

We are looking for full-time Care Assistants who are committed and caring to join our team.

We encourage applications from candidates who are based in or near CB6 and CB7.

You will be essential in helping service users with personal care, preserving their safety and freedom, and improving their quality of life as a Domiciliary Care Assistant.

Principal Duties

• Perform personal care duties include grooming, clothing, and bathing.
• To encourage independence, assist people with their movement and physical activity.
• Assist and keep an eye on service customers to guarantee their comfort, safety, and confidence.
• Effectively communicate with service users to learn about their preferences and wants.
• Keep thorough records of service user progress, care plans, and observation notes.
• Work together with medical specialists to guarantee the provision of complete care.
• Involve service users in discussions and activities that promote mental health.
• When giving care, follow health and safety guidelines.
• As needed, assist the service user with domestic duties.
• Observe protocols for the safe management and documentation of medications.

Person Specifications.

• While not required, prior experience in a home care or assisted living facility is preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English communication abilities.
• Fundamental IT abilities for communication and digital record keeping.
• A sincere desire to serve others and a dedication to offering top-notch care.
• The capacity to be both self-motivated and operate well in a team.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Flexibility in working, including the ability to work on different weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
• The ability to respond calmly and effectively, set clear limits when necessary, and support those who could create difficulties.
• Prior to the commencement date, an enhanced DBS check with good clearance is necessary.
