Reports to: Senior Care Assistant/Deputy Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Mobility Support: Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring from bed to chair, walking, and using mobility aids.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging residents in conversations and activities.
  • Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties such as making beds, tidying rooms, and laundry.
  • Meal Assistance: Assist with meal preparation, serving, and feeding residents as needed.
  • Care Plans: Follow the residents care plan and risk assessments and to be able to update them accordingly.
  • Health Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in residents' health or behaviour to the senior care staff.
  • Safety: Ensure a safe environment by following health and safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Team: Work as a team to achieve the best outcomes for the residents which we support.
  • Policies and Procedures: Work in line with the organisation policies and procedures.
