Overview

Home Instead Horsham are looking for Care Assistants to join our amazing team offering companionship, home help and supporting personal care of our clients across Horsham, Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill.

With minimum visits of one hour, award winning training and an excellent reputation we are immensely proud of the quality of care we provide. We match our Care Assistants to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support.

Care Assistant responsibilities

Being a Care Assistant is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same!

Duties can include:

  • Companionship - ensuring your client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction
  • Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
  • Helping with personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
  • Overseeing medication and providing medical support
  • Accompanying to appointments or shopping
