Overview

PerCurra has multiple Care Assistant opportunities available. The role is based in Edinburgh. You will join us on a part-time basis with a competitive rate of £12.00-£14.00 per hour.

Due to the nature of this role, you must have a full UK Driving Licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support in the Client’s own home in a professional and friendly way with patience and reliability.
• Preferred but not required: some experience of care work (including caring for family and friends).
• Work generally between 7am and 11pm, Monday to Sunday. Applicants who can work early mornings, evenings or weekends will be given preference. Some weekend work is expected, with additional work including some nights possible.
• Work is available as long calls throughout the day, with guaranteed hours contracts available for the right person.

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car.
• You must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to provide Home Office documentation.
• Training and development: 2-day induction; options to continue training to SVQ 2 and 3 for established staff members.
