Care Assistant – Days, 20 hours per week, £12.21 - £12.41 per hour

We have an exciting opportunity for a Care Assistant at Durham House Residential Care Home in Chester le Street. Durham House Residential Care Home is family-run and caters for 31 older persons requiring residential and residential Dementia care provided to an exceptionally high standard.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care, comfort and companionship to elderly residents as part of a team
  • Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
  • Support residents with daily activities and other care duties as required
Qualifications and requirements
  • Applicants must be aged 18+ as will be providing personal care
  • Previous care experience is desirable but not essential as training can be given
