A healthcare provider in Bristol seeks a dedicated Consultant in Cardiac Investigations to join their expanding team. The role involves rotating through various cardiology areas and requires a BSc in Cardiac Physiology along with a qualification in echocardiography. Candidates will work on complex device procedures, support patients through follow-ups, and maintain high standards in echocardiographic procedures. This is an exciting time to join the team in Cardiac Investigations here at North Bristol NHS Trust. The Consultant team is expanding to enhance the services we offer. We provide complex device implantation and follow‑up, including CRT‑p, CRT‑d and CSP pacing. We hold BSE Departmental Accreditation for Adult TTE, TOE and are a designated training centre. The cardiology physiology staff group, where this post fits, has seen significant investment, with a new catheter lab commissioned in April 2023 and plans to expand into a second hybrid lab for device procedures. We also have a robust replacement programme for our echo machines – new GE machines and a new reporting system.
