The Role

As a Carbon Research Assistant (Volunteer), you will:

  • Support research on carbon accounting, ESG reporting, and international climate standards (Verra, Gold Standard, UK ETS).
  • Collect and analyse data on emissions, carbon credits, and sustainability frameworks.
  • Contribute to case studies and scenario building for banks, SMEs, and corporate partners.
  • Help prepare reports and presentations that showcase Doowe UK’s climate impact.
  • Collaborate with the Doowe UK team on knowledge-sharing and new project ideas.
What You’ll Gain
  • Practical Experience: Work directly on carbon accounting and climate finance projects.
  • Skills Development: Build skills in sustainability research, ESG data analysis, and reporting.
  • Networking: Connect with professionals in energy, finance, and climate innovation in the UK and beyond.
  • Impact: Contribute to projects that help businesses take measurable climate action.
Commitment
  • Flexible, remote role.
  • Approx. 4–6 hours per week, depending on your availability.
  • Suggested minimum period: 3 months.
Who We’re Looking For
  • Students, graduates, or early-career professionals with interest in sustainability, carbon markets, or ESG.
  • Good research and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setup.
  • Passion for climate action and digital innovation.
