A leading conservation charity is seeking a Campsite Assistant at Low Wray Campsite in Ambleside. We are looking for a Campsite Assistant to work in Low Wray Campsite, Ambleside.
Fixed Term Full time (37.5 hrs per week) to 01/11/26. Contract starts 2 March and ends 1 November 2026. Early closure of advert is possible.
37.5 hours a week (full time). 4 × 8 hour days and 1 × 5.5 hour day, followed by two days off. Working days to be confirmed but could be any day Monday‑Sunday. Weekend and bank holiday working required. Shifts will be from 7 am at the earliest until 8:30 pm at the latest, with staff starting at staggered times throughout the morning. Shift times will vary throughout the season depending on how busy the site is.
£12.75 an hour.
Interview date: w/c Monday 19th January. For this role you will need to complete our online assessment instead of using a CV or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information about the role.
Accommodation is provided to the postholder for the proper or better performance of their duties in accordance with Trust criteria and HMRC rules. Internally, within the National Trust, you’ll be known as an ‘Outdoors Holidays Operations Assistant’.
