Job description
Overview

Belmont Recruitment are currently in search of a CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Learning Disability Mental Health Social Worker / Therapist / Psychiatric Nurse (RMN / CPN / Art / CBT / Psycho / Occupational) Band 5 / 6 / 7 to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Neurodevelopmental Learning Disability Team based out of Luton in Bedfordshire. The role is Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm, however there is scope for flexibility so applicants who cannot work full time are still encouraged to apply, this is initially on an ongoing locum; however this will most likely be made permanent.

The post holder will assist in the provision of Assessment for children and young people (5-18 years) who may have Autism, ADHD or Tourettes Syndrome with co existing mental health needs, also providing thorough post diagnostic support and intervention. The post holder will also deliver Assessment and intervention for children and young people (0-18 years) who have a Learning Disability. Collaborative working with the Learning Disability and Autism Programme (LDAP) is another fundamental component of the role.

Pay

The pay rate for this locum role is between £21.71- £31.71 per hour dependant on experience, however this is open for negotiation for someone with years of experience.
