Salary: £35,000 - £37,000

Are you detail-oriented with a passion for precision and problem-solving? Join our team at Martindale as a Calibration and Repair Engineer, where you\'ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our electrical test equipment while also getting hands-on with technical repairs.

Key responsibilities
  • Perform calibration of a wide range of electrical and electronic test equipment (particularly safety equipment such as multi-function testers and PAT testers)
  • Diagnose and carry out basic to intermediate repairs on faulty instruments
  • Maintain accurate calibration records in compliance with industry standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in the lab
  • Liaise with engineers and customers to ensure equipment is performing at its best
What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience in calibration and/or repair of electronic test instruments (min 3 years)
  • Ideally, previous work in a calibration lab
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles and metrology
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Familiarity with calibration standards and procedures
  • Great attention to detail and a proactive approach to troubleshooting
  • Personal Traits: Process-driven, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
On-site role

On-site role working, Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30 or 08:30 – 17:00.
