Buyer (Manufacturing)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Buyer, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Purchasing Specialist to join a well-established manufacturing company known for quality. Enjoy working in a progressive environment that values training, development, and career progression.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sourcing and purchasing materials and services to meet quality, budget, and delivery expectations.
  2. Managing end-to-end supply chain functions.
  3. Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
  4. Negotiating terms and prices with suppliers, reviewing performance, and reducing costs.
  5. Ensuring all purchases comply with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
  6. Stock management and materials control.
  7. Coordinating global shipments with the import team and third-party logistics providers.
Candidate Requirements
  1. Experience as a buyer, supply chain, purchasing, or procurement professional within manufacturing.
  2. Familiarity with ERP systems.
  3. Ideally, working towards or holding MCIPS qualifications.
  4. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
Working Conditions

Monday to Friday, dayshift.
